Saci

Saci is a very famous mythological brazilian character which has his origen based on brazilian indian believes, african culture and european culture.
He is a kid/native/creature that has this red cap, he has just one leg, smoke his pipe and is a joker making fun with everyone around.
Saci reflects very clearly the development of brazilian identity and mixed culture.
He became very famous with a children´s version but originaly he is a creature from the woods and people used to believe in his existence, so the ideia in my version was to make a realistic distorted illustration where the viewer is meeting the Saci in the woods.
